I tweeted this earlier: Today’s study session has involved scissors and glue sticks. And that’s how Kindergarten prepared me for medical school. Tell your kids.
Here’s the proof. Old-school “cut and paste.”
I’m creating notes for Pharmacology class. One of the drugs I need to remember is Tacrolimus, which is frequently used as an alternative to Cyclosporine for immunosuppression. Well in order to help me remember certain things, I often paste pictures I find from the internet into my notes to help with memorization.
Cyclosporine’s side effects include gum hypertrophy and inducing hair growth in unwanted places. Tacrolimus, on the other hand, does not cause any of these “cosmetic changes.” So… in order to remember that, I’m putting a picture of Kate Beckinsale (specifically, the one up above) into my notes to remember that Tacrolimus is the “better-looking” of the drugs.
And did I mention I get to put a picture of Kate Beckinsale in my notes?
