Stories From Korea
As you know, the sister is in Korea. She has been teaching there since the beginning of the month. One of the classes she teaches is a Bible class. At her first Bible class she met one student who is an older gentleman with an adult son.
And when I say that she met one student, I mean that she met one student. He was the only person in the class.
Anyways, he proceeded to regale her with stories of how wonderful his son was and that he worked at some large Korean corporation. Ignoring the fact that my sister said she had a boyfriend back home, he told her that he wanted her to date his son. And proceeded to try and sell her on the idea.
And thus began my sister’s teaching career in a land far, far away.
GPOY - The lone article of clothing that I received as a gift tonight. Black scarf. Which blends right in with the black shirt I am wearing, but whatever. You get the point. The sister is trying to style me. Thanks, lil sis.
It’s mom’s birthday today. My sister printed out a picture of them and bought mom a frame. I bought mom KitKats.
What? It’s her favorite chocolate!
Excited & Nervous
The little sister is going to take her MCAT (Medical College Admissions Test) right now. The bum chose to start her exam at 1 PM cause she didn’t want to wake up in the morning.
Hope she does well. Then if she finishes in 2016 from LLU, I can be the one on stage presenting her diploma — assuming that LLU maintains it’s tradition of allowing family members who are graduates of the school of medicine to present diplomas.
GPOYour-Notes-and-Your-Sister
Yeah. This is our 4th of July. We are sitting here at the dining table studying — her for her MCAT and me for Step 2 CK. And eating mangos.
My little cousin Katie (18 year old cousin) just came back from a choir tour to London. She brought back a package of tea for my sister and I.
They’re tea bags with Will and Kate lounging on the top! Those Brits are hilarious.
My sister asked me to help her do an underwater photo shoot. I think it’s an awesome idea. We just need to convince our parents to let us drop some props into their pool and then we’re golden.
I think she is envisioning something like the picture above. But maybe with some props like a chair or something.
I have my doubts about whether or not I will be able to technically pull this thing off. But I’m willing to give it a go. I mean I doubt I’d look that graceful in a long. flowing dress while underwater.
hahaha. Just playin’. She wants me to be the photographer.
Oh, and btw, clicking the above picture will take you to a bunch of other pretty cool underwater photos.

If you were reading my tumblr a month ago, you know I went to my sister’s college graduation in Michigan. She got a BA in Psychology and a BA in Spanish. However, a day after the graduation she flew to Europe for a month-long study tour in order to get 6 more credits that she needed for her Spanish major.
I saw her for the first time yesterday when she came over to visit. Though she glared at me as I took her picture in the kitchen…
Muahahahaha. I think being a paparazzi would be fun.
Here is a “posed” shot I took last weekend. My sister was not at all happy about it. But with me asking, and mom “encouraging,” she finally reneged.
She went to the stairs of the library and threw her hat in the air for me. After this shot, I had her jump up in the air and throw her hat up. She even did it with a smile.
