If you are friends, then it is casual. If you have feelings for her, then I hope you make a good impression.

They want to check you out. I already told you this Jeff! Good luck. ;).And what are you giving your answer for, missy? This “discussion” was with you. I already knew your stance on the matter!

is that allowed?
Yup. It is allowed. But you need to request permission in writing. I hear it’s been done. But obviously most people don’t.
whitehotcenter answered your question: Crazy thought of the day:
Sounds wonderful to me. But, aren’t you afraid of losing momentum?
Eh… So yes. I guess it’s a concern. But on the other hand, once I graduate I will never have the opportunity to take a year off and spend it studying a language. Or will I? I dunno…
corgiaddict answered your question: Crazy thought of the day:
a good portion of people in my class took a year to do this or earn an MPH at some prestigious school.
That’s awesome. Did you ever consider doing it?
ninjatengu answered your question: Crazy thought of the day:
do it. its becoming a more common thing among medstudents
Yeah. The idea is gaining some mental momentum.
mrsonsai answered your question: Crazy thought of the day:
Go to Korea instead!
appetite4life answered your question: Crazy thought of the day:
whoaaaa…do it. or korea w/me =)
Korea sounds like it’d be a blast. But I doubt learning Korean would be as helpful as learning Spanish — especially since I’m hoping to practice in Southern California.

i feel like you’ve been directionless so many times.
I know, right?
But that’s the life of a 3rd year. I followed the directions that were printed out for me. But printed directions only go so far. Because your teams go off in different places. So the secretary told me to page my residents. And start at the senior resident and work my way down to the intern.
Well I worked myself down the list before I got a response. So yeah.. a relatively light day for me.
Just a warning… 3rd year of medical school involves a lot of waiting for people to get back to you!
