Crocs are banned in a lot of hospitals because they won’t prevent a dropped needle from piercing though them.
Do you mean because of the holes? Hmm…. Maybe it’s time for an experiment. Test out a bunch of different shoes to see which ones would actually stop a needle. This might be fun — but costly…
I could see people being concerned about the holes because liquids could spill right in there…

The holes are on issue, but the rubber is another. The Dansko shoes have leather uppers and a hard sole. But a heavier gauge needle can go through a Croc sole.
